The Monster Smash MS-15 is a fully industrial and commercial grade hydraulic rosin press that can press 15 tons of pressure with large 10" x 4" plates to ensure high quality and large volume yields.

Using class-leading software and electronics, the MS-15 has an Arduino based controller. This USB updatable controller brings flexibility and innovative solutions so your press will always be up to date.

One of the new features of the MS-15 timer is activated when a selected tonnage is reached. This will allow you to provide detailed instructions to your staff and they will be able to accurately reproduce all of the conditions (pressure, temperature and time) every time they press.

The Body

The process begins with precision laser cutting of premium steel. All cuts are controlled with precise programming providing unmatched quality and precision. The structural components are precisely welded with state of the art automated welding system. Once the press body is complete it goes in for powder coat paint and bakes in the oven, providing a durable and lasting finish. All components are manufactured in house at an ISO certified facility.

Controller

At Monster Smash, they wanted programming flexibility and the ability to upgrade a device for a longer shelf life. It was decided to do away with pre-manufactured controllers and introduce an Arduino based controller to the Rosin Community. This USB updatable controller brings flexibility and innovative options to your production process. One of the new features is the timer is activated when a selected tonnage is reached. This will allow you to accurately reproduce all of the conditions (pressure, temperature and time) every time you press.

Heating

The Monster Smash Rosin Press is ,built to function with temperatures up to 300F providing one of the highest max temps available on today’s market. The aluminum plates are coated with food grade material to prevent a natural blackening effect from occurring, while simultaneously increasing the heating plates life. Proprietary Monster Smash software will control the heating elements of each individual plate, and the state of the art algorithm will automatically adjust top and bottom plate temperatures by taking into account readings from both plates and outside physical changes that alter plate temperatures.

Pressure and Safety

Monster Smash is manufactured with CE and ISO standards and take operational safety very seriously. Keeping in mind that Monster Smash is an industrial hydraulic press that exerts 15 Tons (Calibrated to our ram diameter and plate size) of pressure and heats up to 300F, they've implemented industry leading safety features. At 15.5T Pressure an alarm will go off indicating to stop pressing and that structural damage may occur if it increased pressure continues. The control panel will also notify users when plates reach desired temperatures and are ready for pressing.
