WHAT IS AEROPONICS?
Aeroponics - a plant-cultivation technique in which the roots hang suspended in the air while nutrient solution is delivered to them in the form of a fine mist. Aeroponic growing is the latest development in hydroponics as the roots are not constantly submerged in water. A timer water-spray system allows for the roots to be periodically exposed to water and then air. This increases the rate of growth and makes it an incredibly productive technique. The vertical position of the sprayers greatly eliminates sedimentation on them as well as on the inner walls of the Aerosystem itself. Consequently, this system is extremely easy to clean and less conducive to the development of insects, harmful bacteria, fungi and viruses.
